Blogs, Interviews & Stories from Together We Save Lives

Voices and perspectives from across the campaign on global solidarity, political leadership and turning financial commitments into impact.

TOGETHER WE SAVE LIVES_Alliance for Public Health

Follow Together We Save Lives through blogs, interviews and stories from advocates, activists, communities and partners around the world. Explore different perspectives on global solidarity, political leadership and the real-life impact of financial commitments and why keeping promises matters for the people and communities who rely on them.

The Together We Save Lives campaign is about more than financial figures and political announcements. Behind every commitment to the Global Fund are people who depend on continued access to HIV treatment, tuberculosis diagnosis and care, malaria prevention and community-led services. Whether commitments are delivered, fully, on time and predictably, has consequences for people’s everyday lives.

In this section, we bring together blogs, interviews and stories from throughout the campaign. Community activists, advocates and partners share what global solidarity means from their perspective, how political and funding decisions affect their work and communities, and what is needed to protect the progress achieved in the fight against HIV, tuberculosis and malaria.

Their contributions also look beyond the promises themselves. What does it take to turn a financial pledge into something communities can actually rely on? What happens when political priorities change and commitments are delayed or reduced? And how can communities and advocates hold decision-makers accountable?

Explore the contributions below and follow the campaign as we continue the conversation from financial contributions to impact.
