Around the world, communities fight every day for fair and equal health services. In this 15-part video series, GFAN advocates, and community leaders share what health equity means to them and why fully funding the Global Fund is critical to achieving it.

“Health equity means to me that people undergoing tuberculosis treatment have the right to health.”

For Ani Herna Sari from Indonesia, health equity is about ensuring that everyone affected by TB can access the treatment and support they need to recover fully.

“The Global Fund gives funding support for treatment, communities, and medicines so that all TB patients can complete their treatment. The Global Fund is fighting for health equity.”

Ani’s work reminds us that equitable access to diagnosis, medication, and community care saves lives — and that continued funding is essential to end TB for good.
