The 8th Replenishment Conference of the Global Fund will take place in the fall of this year. In light of current global threats and the retreat of the United States from global responsibility and development cooperation, we call on the German government to continue to demonstrate its role in a "coalition of the willing" as a reliable, value-driven, and strong partner in multilateral development cooperation. We urge Germany to support the Global Fund with a fair contribution and forge new alliances for just financing structures.
