Press the G8!

The G8 has a unique opportunity to act urgently against poverty -- and specially the increasing poverty of women and the socially excluded -- in the face of the multiple crises of food, fuel and finance affecting the world. All it takes is a small effort to ensure that everyone has access to water, sanitation, food, health services and education and to act against climate change. Join us and put pressure on the richest countries' leaders to make sure they act against poverty, they make the Millennium Development Goals happen and they act decisively against climate change. Press the 8, and we will make sure the G8 leader's will feel your pressure when they meet on the 8th July in Italy for the G8 Summit and any other time they meet up until the Gleneagles Commitments' deadline in 2010.
