The transmission of HIV to newborn babies must be stopped everywhere, worldwide, and particularly in the poorest countries in the world, those most affected by HIV/AIDS. The German Federal Government must contribute its share, in proportion to its share of the global economic output, that is, 10 percent of the funds that must be raised by the donor countries to fulfil their commitment to the United Nations Millennium Goals back in the year 2000. They all promised that by 2010 everyone would have access to prevention, treatment, care and support.
