EAA seeks HIV and AIDS Campaign Coordinator
The Ecumenical Advocacy Alliance (EAA) is seeking a Campaign Coordinator for its HIV and AIDS work. They are looking for someone who will build on the good work that Thabo Sephuma has done over the past three years. Thabo returns to South Africa to new opportunities at the end of the year.
The Campaign Coordinator will lead the planning and implementation of the EAA's global ecumenical campaign on HIV and AIDS. He/she will work to encourage members to develop effective ways to mobilise churches' and church-related organizations' to do joint advocacy and campaigning on HIV and AIDS.
The EAA is looking for a candidate who has a record of demonstrated leadership and has:
- a sound understanding and experience of advocacy, campaigning and Christian organizational structures;
- proven skills as a strategist and facilitator;
- experience in building networks as well as meaningful partnerships;
- demonstrated skills at coordinating complex networks;
- strong analytical skills;
- substantial relevant experience related to HIV and AIDS; and
- excellent communication skills in English.
